Our company focuses on achieving quality services and energy-efficient building with an ultimate goal of improving the environment while providing the needed infrastructures to support economic growth through green building practices in the communities we serve.
DayStar Building Development Services, LLC., was founded in 2007 by Chacrice Miles (Sole Owner) and in 2009 DSBDS became a limited liability corporation. This company is a 100% African American female owned company in the Metropolitan Detroit Area providing residential and commercial construction & cleaning services. DSBDS operates as a licensed General Contractor which employees and hires independent subcontractors from our local surrounding areas.

Our headquarters is uniquely located at 7439 Woodrow Wilson Street in the Midtown /Techtown area in Detroit, Michigan. We believe in building community relations and partnering with local and national construction companies. In 2016 we expanded our company services to Atlanta, Georgia. This venture has uniquely positioned DSBDS to take advantage of a highly profitable market segment while also adhering to our expansion and growth.

We've contracted over 100 rehabilitation projects in various industries including single family dwellings, apartments, schools, churches, restaurants and community development projects in Detroit, Ohio and Illinois. Also, AARX-ICF Design Development of new residential construction (LEED Silver) in Ann Arbor, Michigan. We're locally known for our luxurious custom kitchen, bathroom and basement renovations.

DSBDS has committed to becoming one of the largest women minority-owned construction company's in Michigan and continue to expand our services throughout the nation. We strive to provide our management team with current green building characteristics through our continuing education technology program. Our expertise will not just end with a finished product but also with the best experience of your life.
